19.09.20 England Squash update. Due to recent changes in Government legislation it is now mandatory that we collect details of all visitors to the squash area. The booking system already handles this for anyone playing, to support all other attendees there is now a contact register which has replaced the guest book. We ask that everyone including visitors, volunteers and staff complete the register when required.
The changes also highlight amendments to data handling documentation and provide for anyone who wishes to opt out of their details being provided to the Test and Trace system. The new guidelines have instructions on how to handle this situation.
If any members are interested in the detail behind these guidelines, the Risk assessment and COVID plan and other key documents can be found in the Contact Us/Members Information section of this site.
For details of activities and opening times please see the What's On section at the bottom of this page.
New videos added with ideas for pairs drills, plus several for solo routines. Socially distanced squash can be interesting!
England Squash has announced guidelines based on Government statements which now allow limited use of our courts. For details of their statements please use the link below:
During the close down, work has been carried out on the side walls of court 2 and 3, especially in the back corners where the walls were unstable after years of patching being carried out. This work now carries a 5 year guarantee which, after other work carried out in the last 2 years, should mean that very little maintenance will be required in the near future.
Fitness training on the AstroTurf on Thursday and Sunday afternoon. If you would like to join us please send an email to the 'members' email address. Please don't turn up without receiving an invitation as we have to control the numbers to groups of 6.
